You can contact us about privacy at any time at info@vanncreations.com.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected using cookies (see below).

When you send our contact form, your IP address is stored briefly (for about 15 minutes) to prevent spam and abuse.

03How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and schedule calls;
  • prepare proposals and deliver the services you request;
  • send you project updates, invoices and service-related messages;
  • improve our website, services and content;
  • protect our website against spam, fraud and security threats;
  • comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

05Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses:

  • Essential cookies that make the website work, such as security and login cookies for site administrators.
  • Comment cookies that remember your name and email if you choose to save them when leaving a comment (these last one year).
  • Analytics cookies, if enabled, that help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the website works.

06Third-party services and embedded content

Our website uses trusted third-party services to function, which may receive limited information such as your IP address. These include:

  • Scheduling: Calendly, when you book a meeting;
  • Messaging: WhatsApp, if you contact us through it;
  • Fonts: Google Fonts, used to display text on the website;
  • Spam protection and avatars: services that check comments for spam, and Gravatar, which may show a profile picture next to comments.

Pages may also include embedded content (for example videos or maps). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited the other website, which may collect data and use cookies under its own privacy policy.

07How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it when needed:

  • with service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, scheduling, payment and project tools, who may only use it to provide their services to us;
  • with third-party platforms you ask us to work with on your behalf (for example your hosting, Shopify or ad accounts);
  • when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public;
  • as part of a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, where your information would remain protected.

08How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client records are kept for as long as required for our legal and accounting obligations.

Blog comments and their details are kept so future comments from the same person can be recognized, unless you ask us to remove them.

09How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including secure connections (HTTPS), access controls and trusted service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct or update it;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • receive a copy of it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To make a request, email us at info@vanncreations.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process information in other countries. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

12Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
